Fr. Morkos Elkomos
Hegumen
Fr. Morkos Elkomos is a beloved clergyman who has faithfully served the Coptic Orthodox Church for over 27 years. He was ordained into the priesthood on February 24, 1998, and through his humility and dedication, he was elevated to the rank of hegumen on September 10, 2001. Before founding our church in South Plainfield, Fr. Morkos played a pivotal role in shepherding the faithful and building up the spiritual life of the congregation. His warm presence, wise counsel, and deep love for the Church have left a lasting impact on everyone he serves.
Fr. Gregory Bekhit
Presbyter
Fr. Gregory Bekhit is a faithful servant of the Lord who has been serving in the Coptic Orthodox Church as a priest for over 9 years. He was ordained into the holy priesthood on July 9, 2015, and continues to serve with humility, love, and dedication. Before his ordination, Fr. Gregory was a devoted head of the deaconate in our church, actively guiding and inspiring the youth. He played a vital role in teaching the church hymns and nurturing a spirit of worship among the younger generation. His commitment to the Church and its traditions continues to be a blessing to all who know him.
